Crime & Punishment

Overview

West Windsor is a relatively peaceful town. When one pictures the municipality, they likely think of a semi-busy bedroom community with an award-winning school district and traffic. Indeed, the most major crime visible to the community today may be reckless driving! In addition, the most frequent historic crimes may have been horse theft and robbery.

But this doesn't mean that West Windsor has not had its share of more violent, and shocking, transgressions. While the community may be a safe place to live today, overall, a few events have rocked the community throughout its history:

The Murder of Solomon Krauskopf
The Armstrong Murders
The 2001 Anthrax Attacks
Other Crimes
