The Barlow House
Historical Overview
Standing at 241 Washington Road is a small bungalow with enclosed front porch. This - Barlow house - is a member of West Windsor's "100 Club" and a contributing element to the historic West Windsor community of Penns Neck.
According to township tax records, this house was constructed in 1919.[1] However, the Historical Society has not yet uncovered who built the house. The earliest confirmed owner (research is ongoing) was Laura W. Grover who, in 1943, sold the property to Franklyn and Sybil Barlow.[2] The property remained in Barlow hands for many decades until 2010.[3]
