The VoWW Team
Shikha Rastogi (Co-Chair)
Shikha Rastogi is the founder and CEO of a non-profit organization known as “SR Mosaic”. She founded SR Mosaic to bring together the different cultures she had seen her very first day in the United States. She aims to promote empathy and awareness of all cultures. Additionally, Rastogi wants to help the world around us as there is much suffering, and it is our job to fix it. The events she organizes with SR Mosaic help bring the community together for a single cause. The collaboration between her nonprofit and the Historical Society of West Windsor was birthed by a common belief - that our community is made of voices that need to be heard. Documenting these perspectives will create a record of and enrich the beautiful town we know and love. Shikha Rastogi is a key element in the coordination and overall execution of this project. |
Paul Ligeti (Co-Chair)
Paul Ligeti is (in 2020) the Head Archivist and Internet Outreach Manager of the Historical Society of West Windsor. He has been involved with the Historical Society as a member since 2018 and as an external volunteer dating back to his Boy Scout Eagle Project - the West Windsor Historic Bike Trail - in 2009. His efforts have led to the Historical Society's online presence (Website/Facebook/Instagram), digitization of archives, and resurgence as a township amenity. After digitizing the Historical Society's archives and popularizing the organization on social media, Paul approached Shikha with the concept of documenting the township's current population. Several conversations later, the project was born. Believing in the power of a shared heritage to build communities, he is instrumental in the project's concept development, execution, and publication. |
Megha Rastogi
Megha Rastogi (in 2020) is a rising junior at WW-P High School North and the Creative Copywriter at SR Mosaic. She writes for the website and handles all social media for the non profit. Rastogi is incredibly passionate about her work, and this endeavor is no different. She believes that this initiative is important to help West Windsor fix its single-lens view of its history. Rastogi is one of three interviewers. She believes that the need for this project is evident within our community. A town as diverse as ours deserves a story that recognizes the diversity that makes West Windsor beautiful. |
Neelesh Rastogi
Neelesh Rastogi is a Machine Learning Engineer at Radiology Partners and a freelance Graphic Designer. He assists with publication and advertising for VoWW. His designs evoke both the pre-suburban "Old West Windsor" along with contemporary style, which, much like the VoWW project itself, merges history with the present. His resume and personal information can be found here. |
Aki Gurram
Aki Gurram is studying Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University. He is a freelance photographer and dabbles in sound engineering. His grandfather and father both were photographers and now he is too. He is passionate about capturing memories because nothing brings him more happiness than seeing others smile. He hopes to one day be able to combine his interests of technology with medicine. In his free time, he catches up on world affairs, scours YouTube for videos of interest, and browses Reddit. |
