West Windsor Township Historic Preservation Plan
NOTICE: The Wednesday August 16, 2023 West Windsor Township Planning Board meeting will include a Public Hearing on the Draft Historic Preservation Plan Element of West Windsor’s Master Plan. This is the first year this element is being considered.
Per the planning document, the goal of this plan is “To preserve and maintain the historic resources of the Township and avoid or minimize detrimental impacts of land development upon those resources to enhance the overall quality of life for Township residents.”
This plan uses information from the Historical Society about the history of West Windsor Township, as well as the histories of (roughly) 200 sites in town we believe to be 100+ years old (and a few additional younger sites). However, please note that the Planning Board, with the help of a planning consultant, is the body ultimately drafting and debating this Element.
Meetings are held at the West Windsor Township Municipal Building at 271 Clarksville Road in Meeting Room “A”. A copy of the draft document is available from the Meeting Information Page, along with the full agenda. See link below:
