Join the Historical Society of West Windsor on June 30, 2024, at 4PM at the Princeton Baptist Church (261 Washington Rd) for a lecture & tour! Paul Ligeti - Vice President of the Historical Society and author of our town's history book, "West Windsor, Then and Now: A New Perspective" will explore the story of Penns Neck - a 1700s-era crossroads community centered around Route 1 and Washington Road. After the lecture (which takes place directly within the old white church building), we'll tour the historic church property, listed on the National Register of Historic Places - including the church, cemetery, and the old "Red Lion Inn."
The Historical Society is an all-volunteer nonprofit and can only offer free events like this due to the generosity of our donors. Please consider doing your part by donating to help us keep bringing free community events such as lectures, tours, museum open houses, youth scholarships, and much more. Donations also help us restore the West Windsor History Museum. The Historical Society is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, so 100% of all contributions directly fund our operations and programs. We're also a 501(c)(3) nonprofit so your donation may be tax-deductible.
