Town Meeting Reenactment (Moved to July)

On April 8, 1797, the West Windsor Township Government met at a tavern owned by a Dutch Neck local named Jacob Bergen. There, they elected West Windsor's very first government officials and established governance that extends to the present day.

Originally, as part of West Windsor's 225th birthday celebrations, members of the community would have been able to watch a reenactment of this meeting on April 8, 2022. However, this reenactment has been moved to late July, when we will have our Revolutionary War reenactment weekend. Click the button below to return to the main 225th anniversary page and check back in there for more info about upcoming events as we make them public - including July's reenactment weekend!
