Join the Historical Society of West Windsor and West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 10AM at the Grover's Mill Coffee House (295 Princeton Hightstown Rd) for our annual Martian Bike Ride! This 9-mile guided history tour will explore Orson Welles' infamous 1938 War of the Worlds broadcast that thrust the historic community of Grovers Mill into the national spotlight as the site of an alien invasion. Thanks to Grover's Mill Coffee House, which will provide riders free vouchers for hot coffee and tea!
Bring your own bike and helmet; come early to decorate them. Costumes are encouraged. Please allot 2 hours for this ride. CLICK HERE for a route map. Helmets are required and riders will be asked to sign a waiver. Ages 12 and above; children must be accompanied by an adult.
