West Windsor Historic Bicycle Tour

Overview
If you have not learned about the purpose of this tour, navigate to the "Historic Bike Trail" page!
Below is a PDF file that will function as your bike tour. It can be either printed out or viewed on your phone as you ride along. Depending on your bicycling/reading pace and which trail you choose - Blue, Red, or Green - this tour can take anywhere from an hour and a half to four hours. Enjoy!
*Note: As with all bicycle trails, this route does have its hazards. Although it is optimized to avoid dangerous intersections, there are a few narrow sections of road in Grovers Mill that can pose a small risk. Please note:
1) Bicyclists have the same rights and responsibilities as a motorist. These include obeying traffic signals, riding in the direction of traffic, yielding to pedestrians, etc. In the few strips of land near Grovers Mill where there is neither a bike lane nor a shoulder, a bicyclist should position themselves near the center of the lane. This increases the chance that any vehicle overtaking the bicycle can see the bicyclist and will not attempt to overtake them dangerously.
2) To ensure that others can see you, please wear bright or reflective clothing, attach proper reflectors and lights to your bike, and ride during the daytime.
3) For more FAQ's about bicycle safety, please visit New Jersey's Department of Transportation and the West Windsor Bicycle Pedestrian Alliance!
Happy riding!
