Help save a historic West Windsor cemetery!
The Penns Neck Cemetery, 1/3 mile north of Route 1 and Washington Road, dates to the 1730s/40s, making it one of NJ’s oldest surviving colonial burial grounds. It contains West Windsor founders and likely Revolutionary soldiers. Abandoned generations ago, its condition has deteriorated. So, the Historical Society of West Windsor assumed stewardship in 2025 and plans to rehabilitate it in the years ahead.

But we need YOU to make this possible! Cemetery conservation is expensive and our small, all-volunteer nonprofit can only do as much as we can fund. We ask YOU to donate and before year’s-end and volunteer to help us preserve it.
Donations will also help fund Revolutionary events in 2026, maintain the West Windsor History Museum, provide students leadership opportunities, and more. Contributions to our 501(c)(3) may also be tax-deductible (EIN #222459371). To contribute, click the "Donate" button on this page. Or, mail cash/checks, addressed to the "Historical Society of West Windsor," to: 331 North Post Road #774, West Windsor, NJ 08550. Our heartfelt thanks, Historical Society of West Windsor |
