Join the Historical Society of West Windsor at the West Windsor History Museum on July 10 at 50 Southfield Road (across the road from the Cranbury Golf Course) for two free, in-person "Year 225" events:
This dual-event is part of our year-long celebrations throughout 2022 for West Windsor's 225th birthday.
- UNSHACKLED (11:30AM): Did you know that West Windsor was a throughfare for the Underground Railroad? Join Richard Moody of Cranbury as he takes us on a tour of New Jersey's underground railroad stops. A brief explanation on the history of slavery in West Windsor will also be provided. RESERVE YOUR SPOT USING THE RSVP FORM BELOW. Note: This event will take place in our 1700s-era barn (fans but no air conditioners) due to the number of sign-ups.
- WEST WINDSOR HISTORY MUSEUM OPEN HOUSE (1PM-4PM): Explore multiple historic buildings and thousands of artifacts from centuries of West Windsor history. Stop on by to learn about our local heritage and talk to the volunteers working to preserve our town's story. Stay for as long as you like! NO RSVPs NEEDED.
