Experience history in the making with a concert for the ages at the historic Schenck Farmstead/West Windsor History Museum - 50 Southfield Road, May 20 & 21, 4-7PM (2 concert options, both with intermission)!
Andersen's Nightingale - a WW-based ensemble band of 18 professional musicians - will explore how composer George Frideric Handel created "Messiah" - one of the most famous musical pieces of all time. Travel back in time to the year 1742 as Handel and his fellow musicians are putting the finishing touches on his new work. Performers will alternate between theatrically acting the part of historical musicians and playing excerpts from the piece as it's being developed. Out of this creative process will come a musical masterpiece...
The concert will take place in the barn at the West Windsor History Museum. 100% of ticket sales will go to the performers and the Historical Society. Get your tickets today - click the black/white button below!
