Museum Accessibility

Museum Accessibility Information
The Historical Society of West Windsor is committed to making our programs, events, and resources‬
‭ accessible to all. Please note that due to its historic nature, our Museum’s farmhouse is not currently ADA‬
‭ accessible.
Entry to the building requires ascending exterior steps, and some interior spaces are only‬
‭ accessible via stairs.‬
‭
The West Windsor History Museum currently offers:
  • ADA-compliant parking spaces near entrance
  • Accessible men’s and women’s restrooms, located near the parking lot (available whenever the museum is open to the public).
  • Wheelchair-friendly brick pathways connecting the parking area to the Farmhouse and other buildings.
Requests for Accommodations
‭ Whenever possible, we host programs in accessible locations and offer accommodations to ensure meaningful access. To request accommodations, ask questions about‬ ‭ accessibility, or share feedback, please contact us at‬‭ [email protected]‬‭ or‬‭ 609-751-4061‬‭. We kindly ask that requests for accommodations be made at least‬‭ two weeks in advance‬‭ to allow‬ ‭ adequate time for planning and support. We welcome visitors of all abilities and are happy to work with‬  you to support your participation in our events and programs.‬
